We are excited to welcome back our Project Managers! In an effort to prevent and reduce the possibility of transmitting COVID-19 among employees, project managers worked remotely for two months, but has since returned to work.
Lawson Electric Safety Department is conducting several 4-day Foremen training sessions for company Journeymen. This training is focused on helping Journeyman better understand their role and responsibility of being a supervisor, improve leadership skills, and increase crew productivity in a safely manner.
The Fight against COVID-19
As an ongoing fight against COVID-19, we continue to emphasis the importance of being responsible and considerate of our customers and fellow co-workers. Employees are required to have their temperatures checked and complete a health questionnaire prior to entering the building effective May 29th.
Employees will continue to follow the CDC guidelines by practicing social distancing, wiping down frequently touched surfaces, frequent hand washing/sanitizing, and staying home when sick or caring for someone who is sick.

Sonora Dodd, one of fourteen children, raised by her widowed father, sought to have a special day for male parents in 1910. Recognized by local officials in Spokane Washington, a day of celebration for fathers, known as Father’s Day, was granted. It was not until 1972, that Father’s Day, to be celebrated the third Sunday in June, was declared an official holiday by President Richard Nixon.
Research shows that smiling or seeing someone smile can stimulate happy thoughts, even when you are not in the best mood. Smiling also lowers stress, boosts your immune system, makes you more approachable because of the positive aura you give, & helps your heart. All of which are because our bodies release cortisol and endorphins that has numerous health benefits. So when all else fails, just smile! You will be amazed at the results.
